How the day unfolds
The tour begins in Porto, with pickup at the previously agreed location, and continues on towards the Douro Valley.
As the city is left behind, the landscape transforms and gives way to one of the most beautiful regions in Portugal, shaped by hillsides worked by hand over generations, terraced vineyards and sweeping views over the river and valleys.
During the day, you will visit two leading wine estates, Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta da Roêda, where you will have the chance to learn more about the region's wine heritage and take part in premium wine tastings.
Between visits, there will be time to enjoy the surroundings, take photographs and soak up the Douro's calm rhythm.
Lunch is not pre-set, precisely to give you freedom of choice. You can pick the restaurant that suits you best, based on atmosphere, location, culinary style or budget. If you wish, we will be happy to suggest local options.

The main part of this tour is done by vehicle, with walking limited to the wine estate visits, restaurant access and any stops to enjoy the landscape.
